“From my initial contact with Tri and enter, something told me that this company and these guys would be able to provide the quality bespoke service our events required at a competitive price, but more importantly with precision, accuracy and reliability. Now going into our third consecutive year using Tri and Enter for our annual series of 5 events we have built a great relationship, which is based upon professionalism but has a genuine friendly feel which takes away the stress of a major part of every event. From the pre-event data collection to the

IMG_1328reliability of timing (even in the most demanding of conditions during our Mud Run Series), to the race day trouble shooting and swift uploading of results online, a truly high quality service is always provided. We have also benefited from the additional services of annoy announcements, commentary and all round crowd pleasing banter appropriate for our events to help keep people informed whilst also creating a great atmosphere in the start/finish area and event village. Look no further for all your event timing and results needs.”

Tom Meehan – Race Director – Shropshire Mud Run Series

“Our club has now organised 3 x 5 mile road races over successive years. Because we were a fairly inexperienced race committee we decided very early on to use chip timing after having spoken to a number of race directors and discovering this was often the most stressful and complained about area of any event.

The next step was to contact as many timers as we could find with the brief being to find somebody who was not only commercially competitive but also available to help us with any questions or queries we might have. Scott won on both counts and since our first event his help and support have been invaluable to us. Scott’s experience as a race organiser has led to us making many minor changes that have ensured our events have run as smoothly as possible.

The feedback we have received after each race has, so far, been only positive with organisation being the most commented on area. Because we haven’t had to worry about capturing the times and sorting out the various categories we have been able to focus on ensuring all other aspects of the race and this ensures our limited club resources are deployed where we need them and not having to worry about the most stressful part of the day.

From a personal perspective I would only be involved in a race committee where chip timing was going to be employed regardless of the number of runners taking part. Chip timing doesn’t have to be for large races only and seems to be responsible for attracting a very mixed entrant list for our event which tends to work well for us.

A big thank you to Scott and Tri and Enter who have now become an integral part of our event!”

Yet again the boys at Tri & Enter have done us proud. Presentation results before the race ended and all results posted online within a few minutes of race end. These guys are awesome and any future Race Director need look no further. Thank you again. Stuart Phillips – Braintree Athletic Club (Braintree 5 Mile run)

“When we decided to look into chip timing for the event in May 2009, we had many questions about this and thoughts of worry about this, after reading up on it over several Internet pages and many different companies, I looked into different companies. I asked for quotes based on what we were looking for and some more information. Scott and Tri and Enter were extremely forthcoming with the information and filled us with confidence.

Tri &Enter was the most reasonable priced quote, not only timing, but he can provide extras to help the event run more smoothly. Some at a small cost.

Our main concern was the timing not working or being accurate, as we had the pressure of the Universities Championships and the timing now out of our hands, with over 300 competitors this was a huge responsibility. However it worked extremely well, results were available throughout the event and once the last competitor finished able to be produced so we could proceed with the presentation and prize giving. This was a real help as we had students travelling from as far as Edinburgh.

I would recommend Tri & Enter for chip timing, and have even got him booked for 2010 event” – Luke Shipway – Race Director British University Triathlon Championships

” We decided to go down the ‘chip timing’ route with a certain amount of nervous trepidation – we were both new to race directing and wanted to move forward with this process and problems of entries on the day etc – If only we’d done this years ago – Scott and the team from Tri and Enter were fantastic – professional, thorough, flexible, easy to contact, and to cap it all really nice people to work with – I think the key factor was team work – we both needed each other for the event to be a success – we did, and it was! I would recommend Scott Powell of Tri and Enter every time without any hesitation”. Mike Brown – Wells Fun Run – Race Director

“Pembrokeshire Triathlon Club have worked with Scott and the team at Tri&Enter for the past three years on the TriExercise Pembrokeshire Coast Triathlon.  We have developed an excellent working relationship which runs like clockwork every year.  Tri&Enter are always responsive to our needs and willing to go the extra mile – nothing is too much trouble.  Their prices are competitive and this, coupled with the excellent service, is why we have had no hesitation in working with them again in 2012” – David Astins – Event Director – TriExercise Pembrokeshire Coast Triathlon / Pembrokeshire Triathlon Club

“Working with Tri and Enter was a pleasure from the moment we first contacted Scott to ask for a quotation to provide timing chips for our event.  The quote was by far the most competitive we received and Scott gave us a full breakdown of costs and options and spent time discussing them with us – something we really appreciated as it was the first time our event had used timing chips.  For the race day itself, Scott was on hand from the evening before and the set up on the day went very smoothly.  No problems with anything – all timing chips worked and the start / finish arch we hired looked fantastic. Tri and Enter certainly gave our event the professional look and feel we wanted to achieve, so much so that we booked them for the following year straightaway!” – Dave Crosthwaite – Event Director – Chalgrove 10k

“Tri & Enter provided bike racking & chip timing for our Sprint Triathlon in 2011.  With an abundance of knowledge and experience, Tri & Enter provided a number of useful suggestions to help us optimise the logistics e.g. chip distribution & results collation.  The bike racking was high quality & lightweight, which meant set up was quick and simple.  The chips and timing equipment proved reliable.  Tri & Enter provided an extra dimension to our Triathlon which helped us deliver a high quality race experience for our participants.  We’ve booked them again for 2012!” – Matt Hinton – Race Director – WaldenTriathlon

“We have used Tri and Enter for four years to date. We previously used a timing company who charged more and service was only half of that provided by Scott and his team making our job as event organisers very stressful. We needed to find a company who could take on the timing and results of our event. We found Tri and Enter on the web and didn’t look back. They are  very easy to work with just providing a few simple details, when and where and Tri and Enter do the rest with a professional approach and all with a smile. I happily and highly recommend Tri and Enter” – Jimmy  George – Race Director – VO2 Sportive
