Distances | 1.9K or 3.8K
1.9k or 3.8k swim which is the same course as IRONMAN WALES. A truly stunning setting for the opening event of the Long Course Weekend. North beach is a fairly sheltered bay, with the habour as a backdrop this location is probably the most photographed corner in the whole of Wales. The Wales swim will see a gathering of 1500 swim athletes complete 1 or 2 1.9k laps of the bay, with a grand finish on the beach.

Both races will swim 750m in the safe and idyllic setting of Mumbles bay, the short sprint athletes will ride 21km of the famous Gower roads with the long sprint athletes taking on a testing 32k ride which has everything an athlete can dream of, followed by a fast, flat and pictures 2.5k for the short and 5k for the long sprint run along the shore line of Mumbles Bay

The success of the Men’s Fitness Dirty Weekend was due in a large part to the excellent organisation by race organiser Tri & Enter. Scott Powell and his crew created a world-class course and ensured that the whole event went off smoothly and professionally. Most importantly, all the competitors had a great day thanks to the energy and good humour of the Tri & Enter team.
