“When we decided to look into chip timing for the event in May 2009, we had many questions about this and thoughts of worry about this, after reading up on it over several internet pages and many different companies, I looked into different companies. Our main concern was the timing not working or being accurate, as we had the pressure of the Universities Championships and the timing now out of our hands, with over 300 competitors this was a huge responsibility. However it worked extremely well, results were available throughout the event and once the last competitor finished able to be produced so we could proceed with the presentation and prize giving. This was a real help as we had students travelling from as far as Edinburgh.
